"Was" and "Her" are sight words for Joe in his class... This page practiced them and then he needed to write a sentence with one or both of those words in it. This is what he came up with. Pop is in the grocery store. The red round things are cherries on a stand, and cucumbers and the yellow he said was the lights in the store. =) I thought it was pretty cute. Joe likes green apples, so that's what's on the right and Pop has one in his hand!
